Dan Camacho, Solar Energy Consultant, Monterey Bay Dan brings over 20 years of construction building and management experience in the mid west. His passion for renewable technologies drove him back to California where he could help bring solar energy to the mainstream and do something positive for the environment.

Jacob Averbuck, Solar Energy Consultant, Contra Costa Jacob Averbuck represents REC Solar as the South East Bay Area Residential Consultant. He is someone who has always sought to contribute to his community and to make a difference for winning organizations.  At the University of California at Berkeley he enjoyed the privilege of winning a few national championships with the Cal Rugby team while earning All-American honors for his contributions to this successful program.  Over the past eight years he has applied this same work ethic, passion, and attention to detail to many victorious campaigns through his career as a successful political consultant. As a seventh generation Californian and an East Bay Area native Jacob appreciates the economic and environmental significance of the solar power movement.

Asa Arthur Such, Solar Energy Consultant, San Jose Asa received a Degree from UC Berkeley and a MA from the University of London in International Relations. Asa brings 10 years of experience working with individual investors in Privately Managed Accounts and Asset Management. Asa is looking forward to help customers find the right solar engery solution that fits their needs for the future.

Max Greenberg, Solar Energy Consultant, San Mateo Hailing from New York City, Max is a graduate of Queens College, NY and City College of San Francisco. Recently relocated back to the Bay Area after living in Boston for the past few years, Max comes from a real estate background with a special interest in energy efficient and healthy homes. He has “followed the sun” and that has led him back to California, where he is on a personal mission to put a solar system on every home on the Peninsula while having a positive impact on the environment and people’s lives.

Jay Hermon, Solar Energy Consultant, Contra Costa Jay received a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Jay brings years of environmental consulting experience in the private and non-profit sectors, which initiated his passion for renewable energy.  He is a member of Trout Unlimited.

Barry Cogbill, North Bay Energy Consultant Barry is passionate about solar. After graduating from UC Riverside in 1988, his first venture into solar was as an installer.  He moved into the financial industry in 1992 and relocated to Santa Rosa where he currently resides.  Barry installed solar on his home in 2003, and that led him back to the clean tech industry   Since then he has become a full time solar advocate and champion of renewable energy. He joined REC Solar in March 2008 and is on the Board of Directors and the Chair of the Vendor Committee of the Solar Sonoma County project.

Matthew Perkins, Solar Energy Consultant, North Bay A native of Marin County , Matt graduated from Cal Poly in 2005 and began his career in the financial industry.  After early success he wanted to have a deeper impact on his community, and the world, by promoting solar energy.  Matt returened to Northern California and joined REC in March of 2008.  He is an avid outdoorsman and volunteers with the Special Olympics and the Humane Society in Marin County.

Jon Rossi, Operations Manager Jon Rossi first started in the solar industry as an installer and has grown into the Operations Manager for the Bay area.  He attended UCSC and graduated with a degree in Community Studies.  Jon was very enthusiastic about coming on board with REC Solar and has worked towards making REC Solar the best solar integrator in California.  Jon’s approach as an Operations Manager is to make each one of our customers feel as though they are our number one priority.
