The Tariff Decision Is In, Yet Solar Remains a Viable Choice

January 22nd, 2018 |
The solar industry is built on the backs of driven, innovative and passionate people who won’t let every tariff dip or policy change distract us from our mission to help businesses save money by going solar.

President Trump’s recent decision to issue a 30% tariff rate on PV imports for the first year and 5% less in each of the three subsequent years is a momentary setback to making solar as affordable as possible for businesses in the United States. However, solar PVs are only a piece of the overall cost of going solar. With recent efficiencies in racking, installation, management and monitoring, solar can still pencil as a smart choice for reducing operating costs. Don’t let the news get you down or distract you from the power of solar. The benefits for customers still exist. Give us a call to hear how solar can impact your business.
